About Boating Time

Boating Time Ltd is operated by Richard Steel. Prior to setting the company up, Richard served 20 years in the Royal Air Force leaving as Engineering Manager. He helped run the RAF Sailing Association for many years culminating in the post of Fleet Manager. He also held the post of Senior Offshore Racing Skipper with the RAF Sailing Association where he was personally responsible for four yachts and made sure they complied with MCA requirements. Richard also holds Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement.
